New meaning to the term 'snail mail'

I've discovered that I'm not the only full-time RVer who mentions cold weather and waiting-on-the-mail. While glancing at friends' travelblogs this afternoon, I couldn't help but notice that both were mentioned a number of times:

Dave & Barb:

  • 2/3/2008 Rain Delayed mentions waiting on mail towards the end ... and rain is yet another hindrance to smooth traveling.
Isn't it hard to believe that we found this handy How To book?

Okay, we decided to stay around Rainbow Plantation in Summerdale, Alabama, for another week so Wendell can enter the Bean Cookoff next Sunday. Since we are going to be here that long anyway, we asked Livingston to send our mail. Sure hope it gets here faster than a week or more.

The weather was really great yesterday, but our thermometer said it dipped down to 39ยบ outside last night. I discovered that we had the windows on either side of the bedroom completely open, so it's no wonder that we felt chilly. ;>)
