We arrived before our friend, and our server brought our drinks and a bowl of cole slaw. Their slaw is a coarsely shredded one with a light dressing. We ate as much as we were able of their fine food, which included a fried fish fillet with a side of garlic cheese grits and turnip greens, fried oysters, shrimp sandwich and a cup of Creole style gumbo, which they describe as starting with the roux and including shrimp, crabmeat, okra and tomatoes with a little kick.
So we have another one of the good Gulf Coast restaurants under our belts — so many good restaurants — so little time. :)
