Sheldon Castle includes recycled products

Only one of the buildings is the one available for rent as a guest house. Both are very pretty and unique. I really liked their multi-colored shingle roofs, which were one of many ways recycled products were used in their construction. The castle has an address of 457 Oak Avenue in Fairhope, a No Outlet street very near the Fairhope Art Center. A rock bridge leads to one of the buildings, which leads me to believe it is Sheldon Castle that is available for rent. We visited it on Saturday before Mother's Day in 2009.
The legendary artist and sculptor Craig Sheldon created this magical one-of-a-kind handcrafted treasure over a forty year span of time. Here’s some more information I found on this storybook guest house.

The photos we took are located in the Fairhope Flicker Album.

I have been informed by the owner, Pagan Mosher: Fairhope's Storybook Guest House closed as a Bed and Breakfast in the fall of 2008. We still host weddings and events on the property. When you are in Fairhope, drive down Oak St, park and you are welcome to look around (many people do every day). Please, don't look in the windows is all we ask.
